Rev. Stephen Bender is the current pastor of Eyemouth Baptist Church.  He holds a B.A. in History from the University of Alabama and an M.A. in International Studies from Old Dominion University.  He received his theological training at Bob Jones University. 

 

He was born near Morpeth and grew up in Eyemouth until his family moved to the US in 1978.  He returned to Eyemouth 20 years later with an invitation to pastor the Baptist Church.  Stephen is married to Marcy and together they have three children.
